Hey Yummies!
I'm Jamila, your Yummy with Tummy Confidence Coach! I was born and raised in Philadelphia Pa. Growing up my friends and other kids from the neighborhood called me "Bubbles" because I was a round and fluffy little kid with so much energy! Later down the line I realized "Bubbles" fit my personality as well. But, enough about bubbles, let's get into the juicy stuff!
I have been a plus sized girl, teenager, and now woman all my life. I've heard every fat joke and insult there is! An honorable mention was once being called a "Smoking Hot Fat B**ch"! Whew!
Wasn't that deep?! But anyways, I didn't always have the confidence as the plus size woman I come before YOU "My Yummies" today as.
Again Yummies, I've seen and heard it all! I've heard things such as "She's too big to put that on", "Just because it's in your size doesn't mean you should wear it", and constantly hearing the most famous-backhanded compliment ever, "You're pretty for a Big Girl!" I won't even get started on the ignorant and vile things the media and "nincompoop" people say about us and portray us to be. That's another conversation for another day! But to the fabulous and amazing men and women who love us, HEY Y'all HEYyyYY! We are having it our way on here!
WELCOME EVERYONE!, ladies and gentlemen, Plus-Size Yummies, LGBTQIA Yummies, Pregnant Yummies who may be uncomfortable with their growing tummy, and my Mommy Yummies who may feel their bodies aren't as sexy as they were before giving life. Get ready for an extreme confidence boost and bring your sexy back because it is giving every bit of that over here!
Yummy with Tummy is your safe haven where I will influence you daily to shine your bright light through the darkness of your insecurities and in return, you guys will help me and others do the same! I will be posting positive affirmations and also varying discussion topics for us to engage with as a Plus-Size, and Self-Loving Yummy community!
Yummy with Tummy is a movement to influence and encourage Plus Size individuals of all communities to BECOME confident, BE confident, and STAY confident in a society that makes larger people feel like we shouldn't be and tells us we can't be. A little extra meat ain't ever hurt nobody and I can confidently testify to that!
As your Confidence Coach, I am making it my duty to encourage each and every one of you to LOVE who you are, ADORE the skin you are in, be Unapologetically SEXY, and know that you are YUMMY WITH TUMMY!
